Gear Reviewers Wanted

We are currently in the process of upgrading our website, part of this upgrade will be a major overhaul of our gear guide section to make it something that is genuinely useful when you're looking to buy new gear.

Part of this gear guide section will be INTREPID reviews of gear. This is where you come in, if you apply to, and become an INTREPID reviewer we will have brands send their products to you to test. Obviously everyone has their specialties so you would focus on one particular adventure sport, let's say Tramping. A major brand sends you a pair of boots to review, you test them, write your review (which is then published online), simple as that.

The benefit to you is being able to be involved with INTREPID in a fun contributors role and also in most cases you will be able to keep the gear you review! Note this is not a paid position.

So, you like the sound of this and want to know how to apply?

Simply email ryan@intrepidmagazine.co.nz with the following details: Name, age, gender, location, area of specialty (tramping, rock climbing, diving etc) and outline in about 50 words why you think you'll be a great reviewer and also what kind of outdoor experience you have. We'll then be in touch and let you know, simple as that.
